COLLECTION BRIEF
'Whimsical Wonder' is a range of printed, woven and embellished products for the living space consisting of cushion covers (standard size - 16x16"), floor cushions (20x20x5"), woven rug (72x24" ; 6x2"), and throw blanket (standard size - 50 x65"). The collection derives its inspiration from Morocco and its rich cultural elements such as that of Kilim carpets and arabesque patterns as seen in Zellige mosaic tile-work.
The collection provides a decorative and bohemian essence by combining a maximalist approach to design with Chumbak's quirky depiction of elements by means of colours and style of illustration. Resulting end products are eccentric and vibrant, and is made keeping in mind the target audience and brand aesthetic of Chumbak Design Pvt Ltd, focussing on age group of 20-35 years. By incorporating illustrative designs and vibrant hues, and following the brand's 'makehappy' philosophy, the collection intends to add quirk and playfulness to living spaces and lives alike.
